Managing Student Questions

As an instructor teaching sports lessons, you may receive queries seeking clarifications regarding different topics. You may need to respond to those questions.

To manage questions:

  1. Click the Questions button at the left menu. The Manage Student Questions page displays questions in four categories with student name and date.

In fact, all the questions that are posed to you are initially displayed in the Pending area. By responding to the questions, you can set them in the following categories:

·         Pending: You can keep a question in pending by not responding to it in any way. The student who asked the question can see the answer  
       status as Pending.

·         Answered and Published: You can answer and publish it in your instructor profile. In the instructor profile, the question and answer are
       displayed. The student can see the answer status as Answered.

·         Answered but not published: You can answer the question but not publish it in your instructor profile. They are not displayed in the
       instructor profile. The student, however, can see the answer status as Answered.

·         Reviewed: You can review the question but not publish it in your instructor profile. They are not displayed in the instruction profile. The
       student, however, can see the answer status as Answered.

·         Deleted: You can delete the question completely. It will be neither displayed in the instructor profile or to the student who posed it.

       2. To answer/publish/review a question, click the View button. The Question screen is displayed.



       3. Enter the answer in the Answer area.
       4. From the Status drop-down list, select the status such as Pending, Answered and Published, Answered but not Published, Reviewed, and   
            Deleted
.
       5. Click Submit.
